Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026 · Operator: ClearToEnter (cleartoenter.ca)

The Short Version

Your privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation.

We built ClearToEnter to be the opposite of what you'd expect from a tech platform.

  • Zero personal data collected for free tools
  • Stripe handles all payments — we never see or store your credit card info
  • AI-powered breakdowns use AI for detailed analysis — processed in real-time, never stored
  • No third-party data sharing
  • No advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics.

1. Who We Are

ClearToEnter operates the website cleartoenter.ca and cleartoenter.com. We provide Canadian immigration information tools powered by publicly available law. We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

2. Information We Collect

Free Tools & Guides

We collect zero personal data when you use our free tools (fee calculator, document checklist, program finder, and more) or read our 135+ free educational guides. Guide content is static — no tracking, no logging, no personalization. Tool inputs are processed locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers in a way that identifies you.

AI-Powered Breakdowns

AI-powered breakdowns use AI to deliver detailed admissibility analysis. Your answers are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for real-time processing. This data is processed immediately and is not stored by ClearToEnter. We do not log or retain your answers beyond the duration of the API call. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of API data — Anthropic does not train on API data.

Payment Information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. ClearToEnter never receives, sees, or stores your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe may collect your name, email, and billing address for fraud prevention and payment processing.

3. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for the site to function (e.g., maintaining your payment session after checkout), plus Google Analytics 4 cookies for anonymous usage statistics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, country of origin). Google Analytics uses cookies. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use any collected information only to:

  • Process your payment and grant access to paid tools
  • Verify your payment session when using paid features
  • Respond to support inquiries sent to hello@cleartoenter.ca

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for commercial purposes. The only third-party processors involved are:

Can you see my payment details?

No. Stripe handles all payment processing. We never receive, see, or store your credit card numbers, CVV, or full payment details. That data never touches our servers.

Is ClearToEnter PIPEDA compliant?
